Its label is from The Youth Guild - a group of young designers that banded together to produce their work - a very free thinking sixties idea! It is a simple shift dress made of a textured linen look mix in a deep blue. It is cut short - a true sixties mini mini - one can just imagine the go go boots that the fabulous girl who owned this wore with it! I love love love the checked and offset four rows of bright yellow fabric squares appliqued around the hem! They are the perfect mod touch! Excellent condition!
